CENTRAL COAST MINIATURE CATTLE COMPANY
The foundation of our herd at Central Coast Miniature Cattle Company was acquired from Horseshoe Bend Farms, LLC (HSB Mini Cattle) and Little Lucky Cattle in 2022. At Central Coast Miniature Cattle Company we continue to follow in their footsteps and are grateful for Vickie Bayles for her continued support and mentoring.
We socialize, begin halter training, vaccinate, do all testing, provide veterinary care and can assist with arranging transport for your calf. We also provide continuous support after your calf is home.
INCLUDED IN PRICE OF CALVES
We leave our calves with their dam for around 5 months because we feel they are healthier when nursed by their mother. In that period, we spend as much time as possible with the calves. We have grandchildren, our dogs and visitors who play with the calves. Having a dam with a great personality is key so she allows us to "play" with her calf. Grain and hay are available to the calf right away as well as pasture so the calf can start to develop it's rumen as soon as possible.
Once weaned and eating grain, grass and hay, we will spend 2-4 weeks, depending on the calf, halter training. We will do our best to teach your calf to lead.
During the time we have your calf we will send you photos and videos. You are also welcome to come and visit.
We vaccinate as recommended by Auburn University School of Veterinary Med.
At birth we give First Defense.
At 4 months we give 7-way and Inforce 3 and Boosters. Wormed at weaning.
Veterinary Certificate of Health Report, brand inspection and transportation documents will be provided.
UC Davis Bovine testing as needed for Chondro status
Available upon request.
Central Coast Miniature Cattle Company will help arrange transportation for the calf.
We provide ongoing support for you as long as you need it. We are just a phone call or text message away.
